Edvard Munch's The Scream
Students learned about the artist Edvard Munch and his paintings. They then each took a portion of the famous painting "The Scream" and had to recreate it. In order to capture the colors, students searched for similar colors in magazines, ripped them out, and glued them down, much like one would do for a glass mosaic piece. All of the students had to work carefully together, to ensure that their section worked well with the sections that they were next to.
