Pastel Drawings in the style of Jim Dine
We learned about the work of Jim Dine, an artist who loved to create works that featured tools in a setting that made them look monumental. Jim Dine worked with many different medium, but pastel was a favorite. We practiced using both chalk and oil pastels. Students were then allowed to choose which of the pastels they enjoyed more.
