Annual Portfolios
This year, the students were asked to think about symbols that represent them - their likes and dislikes, their hobbies and aspirations. Once those items were chosen, the kids were told to make a border of symbols that alternated between positive and negative shapes. This created a very pleasing design. Once the symbol border was complete, they added their names to the center of the portfolio. They could choose from a variety of media to create their names. Finally, a border was added to complete the effect.
