Bad Hair Day
Students were told to draw a person (usually they drew themselves, but not everyone did) The face was to take up half the page, and then the hair was to take up the rest of the paper. And the hair was where all of the fun came in. The students used their names to create the hair. In cursive, or block or bubble or both, they wrote their names, and then incorporated a variety of patterns in the hair to add visual interest. The final touch, for those who had some extra time, was to add a little color.
