Neutral Colors
Elective Students studied color and the color wheel for many weeks. Along with bright, vibrant colors, they had to study neutral colors as well. To further explore the many tints and shades of neutral colors, they created a painting that used five variations of either brown or black.
They first decided on a shape, then repeated it several times on their paper. Next they fractured it to make different sections on their paper. Each section needed to be painted a different tint or shade. It was tricker than it looks. The final products make very cool abstract art!
