Koi Fish
Elective Students played with watercolors and figured out all different ways to create a watery looking surface with the paints. They used wet on wet technique, salt, bubble wrap, plastic wrap, and splatter paint. The differences in the watery backgrounds they made were amazing. They next created the koi fish to place in the pond. This they made with watercolors, as well, but this time, they had to use a much more controlled paint brush. Finally, they had to put the two pieces together, and seal them with a glossy mod podge.
